If you are in immediate crisis, call 911 or the National Teen Dating Abuse Helpline at 1.866.331.9474 (toll free).
Ask Anything is a non-time-sensitive information resource for young people with questions regarding relationship abuse only. Our primary concern is to address emails from young people under the age of 24 who have questions regarding abuse in their own relationships or in the relationships of their peers, therefore we cannot guarantee responses to emails from those over 24 or emails not related to dating abuse. For other questions or more resources click here.
We strongly encourage you to look through the website where you may find the information you are looking for. Please note that Break the Cycle receives many emails, so due to the high volume it may take us a bit longer to get back to you. Also, ‘help’ questions will take priority over requests for general information.
*Some emails we receive at Ask Anything may be posted in “The Column” on thesafespace.org. In the event that your email is posted, any information identifying specific persons or places will be changed to maintain anonymity. Also, your letter may be edited for content or length.
