Class Is In Session!

September 11, 2009

class-in-sessionSummer is just about over, so our calendars say, but for many out there it already ended the second that morning bell rang—time to hit the books, do some homework and change into unattractive P.E. clothes. It’s also time to revisit old friendships and develop new ones, as we begin to see who’s back, who’s left and who are the unlucky ones to be labeled the “new kid” in class.

Walking through the hallways as each day goes by, you will begin to find yourself in your comfort zone, in your comfort place, surrounded by your comfort friends. You may even find yourself with that particular person that brings you a different kind of comfort, the one that makes you want to stay out until the last bell rings. Keep that fun and exciting by making healthy relationships a priority for you.

Whether serious or casual, remember that no type of relationship can work without respect, trust and open communication. So whether or not this person is “the one,” keep it happy and healthy for the both of you, no matter what. And don’t forget that if you see ANY Break the Cycle for help. Remember, everyone has the right to a safe and healthy relationship, free from violence and free from fear. That means you.
