April 23rd is Denim Day, internationally recognized as the day to stand against sexual assault. In 1998, a court in Italy dropped the charges in a rape case because the victim wore jeans. The judge argued that because jeans are hard to remove, the victim must have consented to sex. As a result, Denim Day was born. Participate in the protest against sexual assault and wear your jeans on Denim Day!
