This year’s National Teen Dating Violence Awareness and Prevention Week inspired youth across the country to take action.
Take Sarah Dephtereos and Katie Hackett of Wilton High School in Connecticut. These students creatively called attention to the issue, using life-size cutouts to represent victims and having students draw hand outlines on a poster with the phrase: “Hands are not for hitting.”
