High school proms have arrived; the time to celebrate and toast to the future. But prom can also hide scary moments, when agreeing to a dance is taken as an invitation for something else. That’s why a group of students in Flathead Montana started the PEACEful Prom Project, to encourage others to have a fun evening free from violence. Prom night should be about dancing and dressing up, not about dating violence or sexual assault.
