Speak Out!

May 30, 2008

Being involved in an abusive relationship or witnessing someone else go through the pain, is no easy thing. That’s why students at Bowie High School in Maryland started Teens Against Assault, Violence and Abuse, to inform their peers that silence is never okay. Using skits, the group spreads awareness about teen dating violence at their school and at community events, like Law Day, where they get to discuss teens’ biggest issues with lawyers.

Dating violence affects teens. Teens have a powerful voice—find your audience and make them listen. Learn ways to Take Action or contact us for more information.
