Break the Cycle, the DC Rape Crisis Center, WEAVE and My Sister’s Place held the 5th Annual Teen Dating Violence Conference: Love is NOT a Battlefield, February 29th-March 1st.
Planned by teens, the team met for 3 months, focusing on how teens and adults can work together to end teen dating violence. Day 1 taught 90 adults about the issues of physical and sexual violence affecting teens, while on Day 2, 200 teens discussed these issus, learned about internet safety and how to find help.
