To Speak or Not to Speak…

Being a victim of domestic violence is a pretty scary thing. Speaking out against an abuser in court can be the most terrifying thing for many victims.

While it may be shocking, California laws currently allow victims to be jailed if they refuse to testify against their abuser. But beginning in January 2009, victims in California will no longer have to worry about going to jail thanks to a recent change in the law.
