Spread the word through public media!

Let the newspapers do all the work for you! Many of Break the Cycle’s former clients and volunteers have reached out to the media to talk about their experiences with teen dating violence.

Priscilla was featured in the LA Times in December 2005. When the 20-year-old found herself in the midst of an abusive relationship, she turned to Break the Cycle for legal and emotional guidance. Now, she is returning the favor by counseling other young women in similar situations. Read her story.

One of Break the Cycle’s teen peer leaders told her story to Teen magazine in June 2005. She was abused by her father, and for years kept it a secret. Read more about her.
